ARC HISTORY & THEORY
Following the lectures and projects, I learned different architecture styles in different era and also the transformation of architecture throughout the years. It is an interesting as well as a motivating way to profound my understanding on the lectures through earning badges by completing the weekly exercises and quizzes given on TiMes in the form of memory games, crossword puzzles and forum.
Online learning was not a big doubt for this module as it’s more theory based and with the complete information available on TiMes. Lastly, I would like to thank my tutors for their kind help especially on these two projects.
PROJECT 1
Sketching Analysis
In this project, we conducted a research and architectural analysis on a selected building for each topic and produce a coloured A4 Sketches booklet supporting with information using drawings, pictures and diagrams.
Through this project, I further develop my sketching skills and while researching, I visualised the transformation of architecture throughout the centuries.
PROJECT 2
Comparative Analysis Report
In a group of 8, we need to produce an A4 sized illustrative chronology booklet comparing both Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka and Stadium Negara from different architectural aspects.
